Thank you for writing this. I just ended a relationship that I have been trying to end for at least six months. And everything you say rang true. It sucks but I know what there has to be some healthier union out there for us all. We just have to keep reaching for it and not allowing the addiction to take over our lives. Because in the end, addiction will take it all. I know this and yet here I am again. Sigh.
